In commemorating this years’ WDDW the BFTU will conduct a number of activities.

• Mobilization – this will include rallies, demonstrations, marches, cultural events. These activities will take place at six (6) different places around the country. Tentative venues are as follows:

• Maun
• Gantsi
• Jwaneng
• Selebi Phikwe
• Francistown
• Gaborone

• Thematic Activities
   Seminars, press events, lobby activities and presentation of demands to government or employers will be organised.
   These activities will be coupled with mobilization efforts.

Strategy

• A working committee is set up to oversee the implementation of the WDDW Action Programme.

• The working committee is to draw up a schedule to be followed in the implementation of the Action Programme

• The Committee is to work with structures in the identified areas to get the best results in terms of local participation by the masses.

• The Committee will assign individuals to officiate at different venues.
