We from the Mineworkers Union of Namibia (MUN) appreciates the adoption of the Contract and Agency Labour (CAL) as the ICEM’s main theme for the International Trade Union Movement’s global campaign of action for decent work, on 7th of October. In addition, although this has been part of our organizing strategy, we will once again broaden our focus on the issue of precarious workers.

We will use the 7th of October for the global campaign of action for decent work. Subsequent to that, we appreciate the new ICEM research/campaigning tool, which will provide encouraging examples and also backgroud information on CAL.
