In Brussels today the Belgian trade union confederations together with ITUC and cooperating NGOs had a joint event at Schuman, outside the European Commission.

The morning started with a press conference with the Belgian campaign coalition, and ITUC’s general secretary Guy Ryder was also invited.

Then the Belgian coalition had a role play with a huge tool box they had built on the square, with worker telling theirs stories about their indecent lives. This was the launch of a two year long campaign.

Then the turn had come to the International campaign coalition for Decent Work Decent Life. Special guest was 1st vice president for the commission, Margot Wallström, who signed the Call to Action for Decent Work Decent Life.
